This summer, the Museum of the Beartooths invites you on a one-of-a-kind, guided off-road tour through some of the region’s most significant mining sites — locations rarely open to the public.

Thanks to special permission from Sibanye Stillwater, this exclusive tour offers an unforgettable chance to explore the geology and history of these remote areas, guided by experts who know them best.

• Time: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Location: Tour begins from a designated meeting point (details provided upon registration)
• Guides: Retired geologist Ennis Gerraghty and a representative from Sibanye Stillwater
• OPI Credit: Educators will receive 8 OPI renewal units for participating

What to Expect:

• Ride UTVs or ATVs to reach historic sites
• Short hikes at each stop to explore on foot
• Interpretive talks on mining history, regional geology, and the significance of each site
